The Fitbit Ultra fitness tracker is a tiny piece of fitness equipment that will help you track your activity levels throughout the day.

Particularly, it will tell you the number of steps you take and the amount of stairs you climb. This is in addition to calculating the amount of calories you burn daily.

Most folks really want to lose a few pounds, and many of us, want to lose quite a few.

Fortunately, there are numerous ways to do so. You can lose weight by exercising, eating a balanced, low-fat diet, and weight training, and admittedly, they are not always the most fun ways.

The fitbit will tell you how many floors you have climbed so instead of just tracking the steps you have walked it will also tell you when you have done up-hill climbing or stairs – activities which are SO GOOD for your heart!

It might just even encourage you to take the stairs at home or work more often! Or maybe even climb a little further on your next hike.

One of the best things about the Fitbit Ultra Wireless Activity Plus Sleep Tracker is that it’s small enough that it can be worn discreetly.

Not everyone will want to advertise the fact that they are wearing a fitness tracker and with the Fitbit, it’s not necessary to.

 

 

 

In addition to calculating your daily activity, the Fitbit offers something that most other trackers do not, it will measure the length of time you sleep and how restful your sleep is.

This feature is really important for weight loss!

Because people who don’t get enough sleep tend to be more susceptible to weight gain and have a harder time losing weight in the first place!

Sleep is SO important to weight loss and overall good health. So being able to track your sleep and SEE just how much restful sleep you are really getting helps you be healthier and lose weight faster!

The fitbit lets you upload your tracking results to Fitbit.com, wirelessly. This is totally free of charge.

Uploaded data can be easily made into graphs or charts, so that you can track your progress.

Often times, people overestimate their daily activity levels. I was so guilty of doing this before I started tracking my daily activity!

The Fitbit Ultra Wireless Tracker is exactly what you’ll need to track and monitor your daily activity as well as the number of calories your burn on any given day.

This information, while not always welcome, may be exactly what you need to light a fire under your backside and step it up. The Fitbit is very helpful in this regard.
