  • When you walk you are in a metabolic zone that helps your body heal and grow
  • Nearly 60 percent of Americans are overweight and one-third are obese. Studies show that people who do daily physical exercise  not only lose excess weight but keep it off.
  • You can lose weight walking and maintain your weight loss with a daily walking habit.
  • One of the main indicators that someone will have successful weight loss is daily physical activity and most overweight people can take up walking more easily than any other exercise program.
  • Walking is the easiest exercise  to do to create weight loss and improve your health.

  • Walking studies have shown that walking can help reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s.

You mentioned that walking can help you manage type II diabetes, but it can also prevent it. Excess weight is one of the major risk factors for diabetes and walking helps keep the fat off. It also helps me keep my digestive tract “running” smoothly.
